INFORMATION ABOUT OUR OFFICE
Sterilization
All surgical instruments are autoclaved by steam under pressure. This provides complete sterilization. The autoclave unit is routinely tested by an independent company which provides us with documentation of the results. Any piece of equipment which cannot be autoclaved is purchased sterile from the manufacturer and is used once then discarded. We use only sterile disposable needles, syringes, and anesthesia supplies from reputable companies. Great care is taken to maintain the chain of sterility throughout the entire office.
Radiology Services
Our x-ray machines have been certified by the state and are tested. Lead shielding is used to minimize exposure. We have access to MRI and CT scans if the need arises.
Laboratory Services
We use qualified laboratories to obtain blood tests and cultures. All biopsies are sent by courier to a Board Certified Oral Pathologist.
By performing the majority of procedures in our surgical suites we are able to keep the cost of health care to a minimum when compared to a hospital operating room.
